Greetings fine folk,

I am organizing this year's Can't Stop the Serenity event, a global event raising money and awareness for the charity Equality Now.   This year we are having the event on:

June 20th, 10AM

at the Fleur Cinemas in Des Moines, 4545 Fleur Dr.

I would really like as many people as possible to attend.  There will be a Serenity/Firefly costume contest for shiny prizes, a weighted auction, qualifying for national drawings, and of course  a special screening of the film Serenity on the Big Screen!

Plus, I have several door prizes to give away too, including DVDs of Mutant X and more.

I would really like to encourage tickets be purchased beforehand, it makes it easier, and information is on the site.  If you don't like PayPal, then I would still really like to see you all show up the day of the event to show your support.
